The first Global Goals World Cup in Jordan hosted by Rise For Good.
The first tournament in Jordan was held in May 2021 in Amman, Jordan. No other GGWCUP roster before has been challenged by a year like 2020 - and never before have we seen how the teams remained championing the Global Goals when everything closed.
The teams represent a variety of entities including large local and regional corporations, local foundations, Universities, NGOs and teams of women from refugee camps hosting Syrian and Palestinian refugees and refugee’s living in the Jordanian host community.

Teams from across Jordan united in Amman to play for the world

A GGWCUP is an all-women 5v5 football tournament and to participate each team must adopt and take action for one of the 17 Global Goals. The teams are ranked by how they promote the Goal on and off the field.
