Help all women to be registered to get a birth certificate / registered to vote?
Make sure every child in your community goes to school?
Or are you more interested in solving a specific problem in your community?
Leading up to a GGWCUP each team champions one of the Global Goals and is ranked by the action taken for their Goal on and off the field. Your teams will score points in four distinct categories: Action, Crowd, Style, Football Score.
To qualify to play, your team must pick a Global Goal. You will pick your Goals when you sign up your team.
About the Global Goals
The United Nations Global Goals - also known as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - are the world’s biggest to-do list to end extreme poverty, reduce inequality, and protect the planet by 2030.
Adopted by 193 countries in 2015, the Global Goals emerged from the most inclusive and comprehensive negotiations in UN history and have inspired people from across sectors, geographies, and cultures.
Achieving the goals by 2030 will require heroic and imaginative effort, determination to learn about what works, and agility to adapt to new information and changing trends.
