Team Can-cer Vive play for Good Health & Well-being

Team Can-cer Vive is a group of women from the The King Hussein Cancer Center. They wants everyone to have access to universal health coverage, that is including financial risk protection, access to quality essential health-care services and access to safe, effective, quality and affordable essential medicines and vaccines ... for all.

This team play for:

  • Accessibility to quality cancer care with no financial barriers to all is our main objective.

  • Cancer coverage as a step towards universal health coverage in Jordan.


We believe that together we are tougher and stronger than any disease and every Jordanian has the right to live life to the fullest.

The Team's physical activities and uniform

  • Team met and played football more than 5 times, engaged people (on social media) and did 10 face-to-face activities to promote your team’s Global Goal.

  • We as a Cancervive team organize activities that can go with the circumstances we are facing, So we invited people to go for a short walk for 1-2 hours.

  • Raised awareness about universal health coverage, including the availability of quality and comprehensive treatment, financial coverage, and the importance of cancer insurance. Launched a care program and 22 people were insured against cancer. A cycling activity for Swar volunteers, 20 volunteers participated. Carried out a walking activity and 30 volunteers participated to encourage a healthy lifestyle.

  • We also planned for a cycling event and we went live on the KHCF official page to talk more about GGWCUP

  • Team has upcycled or recycled a minimum of 50 % of the team’s uniform.
