Z Team will play for Goal 13 - Climate Action - for a healthier and happier planet!
Z Team is a group of women representing one of the region’s leading mobile telecom companies that has a demonstrated history of commitment to sustainability through a wide variety of programs and initiatives across Jordan and beyond.
Zain was among the first companies in the Middle East to commit to achieve the SDGs, with a special focus on reducing poverty and hunger, good health and well-being, reducing inequalities and education.
Z Team will play for Goal 13 - Climate Action, for a better quality of life for all.
سيلعب الفريق زين من اجل الهدف 13 – العمل المناخي- من أجل كوكب أكثر صحه وسعادة
فريق زين هي مجموعة من النساء يمثلن واحدة من شركات الاتصالات المتنقلة الرائدة في المنطقة والتي لها تاريخ حافل من الالتزام بالاستدامة من خلال مجموعة واسعة من البرامج والمبادرات في جميع أنحاء الأردن وخارجها
كانت زين من أوائل الشركات في الشرق الأوسط التي تلتزم بتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة ، مع التركيز بشكل خاص على الحد من الفقر والجوع ، والصحة الجيدة والرفاه ، والحد من عدم المساواة والتعليم

“يعد الهدف الثالث عشر (العمل المناخي) أحد أهداف التنمية المُستدامة التي تُطبقها شركة زين في مبادراتها وبرامجها الخاصة بالمسؤولية الاجتماعية والاستدامة وذلك للمساهمة في تحسين حياة الأفراد في الأردن،حيث أن التغير في المناخ يؤثر على البيئة المحيطة ويجب علينا العمل على تجنب الضرر البيئي الذي سيسببه هذا التغير

هذه هي الطريقة التي سيعمل بها الفريق لتحقيق هدفها
تتضمن خطة العمل عدّة حملات توعوية موّجهة لموظفي شركة زين، والمواطنين الأردنيين، للمساهمة في تنمية القطاع البيئي والحفاظ عليه ؛ كزراعة الأشجار، وتخفيض كمية استهلاك مادة البلاستيك،واستبدالها بالمواد القابل للتحلل، إلى جانب استخدام حاويات منفصلة في الشركة لوضع كلّ مادة قابلة لإعادة التدوير كالبلاستيك ، أو الزجاج، أو العلب المعدنية، بهدف إعادة تدويرها
سنقيس تأثير اعمالنا من خلال رفع نسبة الوعي حول الحفاظ على البيئة، وزيادة عدد الأشجار المزروعة ، وعبر تجاوب المتطوعين والموظفين مع حملاتنا، التي سنطلقها عبر حساباتنا على مواقع التواصل الإجتماعي
This is how the Team will take action for their Goal
Z Team will launch several awareness campaigns targeting Zain employees and Jordanian citizens, to contribute to the promotion of a healthier planet.
The campaigns will mobilize actions towards planting trees, reducing the consumption of plastic and replacing it with biodegradable material. Zain currently recycles plastic, glass and can containers at its offices.
Z Team will measure its impact by monitoring engagement with the social media campaigns and reporting on all volunteer based actions that result from their campaigns.
The Team's activities and uniform
A Beautiful Team in A Beautiful World. Everywhere we play, we always aim to partner with local and global companies and organizations, who want to be part of making the Global Goals a reality. We go out of our way to invite people and organizations from all parts of society to participate, because this is how we believe we will reach the goals. We play together, train together, celebrate together and go beyond together.
Team met and played football more than 5 times, engaged people (on social media) and did 10 face-to-face activities to promote your team’s Global Goal.
Zain team has done many actions including but not limited to the below:
Plant Olive trees at farmers lands
Bus and car pooling
Distribute recyclable cloth car trash bags to masses
Weekly GGWCUP team training
Upcycle clothes /Sustainable fashion at Dezain space
Conduct several Social media and internal climate change awareness campaigns
Plant tree with Zain Nursery children
Place recyclable bins at Zain HQ
Eliminate plastic waste at Zain HQ
In process of partnering with recycling and environment responsible entities
Circulate UNDP mission1.5 survey internally
Publish press releases of Zain GGWCUP team and the tournament goals
Publish Zain 'B' scoring video from carbon disclosure project for tackling Climate Change
Zain recycle the company's paper
The team's shirts , face masks , and headbands are recycled materials. The style reveals climate change: It's Good for the Environment , Reduce what goes into landfill, Lowers Production Costs,Saves Natural Resources,Supports Local Companies, Crafty repair skills, Appeals to Judging panel and crowd , Allows for More Creativity , free style and some craziness = One-of-a-kind uniform :)
