Announcing GGWCup Prague 2019

For the first time, the Association of Social Responsibility welcomes you to a football tournament for the UN Sustainable Development Goals in Prague, City of a Hundred Spires, a part of the UNESCO heritage and one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

The kick-off event of Global Goals World Cup Prague is going to be held on March 8, 2019, the International Women's Day 2019. Team sign-up will be open for women who are 18 or older. Make sure you register your team on time. To be able to register, each team needs to pick one of the 17 Global Goals to advocate.

Girls Get Going is a part of the PIFA Foundation and have been working tirelessly towards Gender Equality, their Sustainable Development Goal. And when hard work is their DNA, it will not be any surprise to see them out-run all other opponents on the field at the GGWCup Mumbai 2019. Here's wishing them the very best for upcoming games.

PIFA’s mission is to provide the underprivileged with the same level of football and sports motivation and learning facilities as the rest of us. Help us grow this foundation for the greater good of Underprivileged children and football in India.

In the GGWCup the team will be playing for Global Goal 5 gender Equality.

The 8 Enthusiasts' Save the Children India from Save the Children India are all ready to be a part of the Global Goals World Cup (GGWCup).

With the team motto 'Education is the Key’, these girls will be part of an open women’s -6 minutes a match -street soccer tournament. The aim of this game is to leverage the power of sport to raise awareness of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and engage women in achieving the SDGs.

12 Female Coaches from all over Europe have been selected to accept the Global Goals Challenge: They will each set a team of awesome women from their home country and participate in the Global Goals World Cup in May. The players on the teams are a new kind of sports stars and role models. They have all had to overcome social or cultural barriers to participate in sport. They will help us better understand what it takes to engage more women in sport, and make them feel like they belong - they are our experts!

Profile: Sapphire Carrington -Bringing the Global Goals home!

Sapphire Carrington is sweating, and cursing me under her breath for dragging her out on this morning run around Soufriere a small village about 30 minutes drive from Roseau, the Capital of Dominica. In two days Roseau will host the 9th Global Goals World Cup tournament -The first in the Caribbean. After that, I have to return to freezing Denmark. So I am determined to absorb as much of the abundant beauty and warmth of this island as I can!
