Press Release. Save the date: Global Goals World Cup Finals Return to New York City, with Game of Thrones Actor as Head Referee.

What: Sport meets advocacy in this highly entertaining Street Soccer event: 24 teams of inspiring women from 5 continents compete to win the Five-a-Side Global Goals World Cup trophy.
To qualify, each team has led a campaign of advocacy and action for their favourite UN Global Goal, and they compete by a unique set of rules that decides games based on action, mobilization, style and soccer skills.
Celebrity referees, DJ’s and high level addresses are mixed in with the fast paced games.

Pelé is a legend, but his daughter is an ACTIVIST

Whether you are into soccer or not, chances are that you have heard the name Pelé.
The legend of the elegant soccer player from Brazil reaches way beyond the confines of his sport. So it is not entirely surprising that his daughter would be an amazing force of nature when it comes to promoting women's rights and equality in "The Beautiful Game". But we are honored beyond words that she has decided to join the ranks of GGWCUP trailblazers.
