What: Sport meets advocacy in this highly entertaining Street Soccer event: 24 teams of inspiring women from 5 continents compete to win the Five-a-Side Global Goals World Cup trophy.
To qualify, each team has led a campaign of advocacy and action for their favourite UN Global Goal, and they compete by a unique set of rules that decides games based on action, mobilization, style and soccer skills.
Celebrity referees, DJ’s and high level addresses are mixed in with the fast paced games.
We are proud to announce the next GGWCup Tournament will kick off in Bangkok on September 30th.
The event will be hosted by the NIST International School in partnership with Chelsea Foundation and UNDP.
Once again, our amazing honorary referee Nikolaj Coster-Waldau will be making sure that everyone plays fair.
While specific goals like zero hunger or quality education target issues that many countries face, radical change would still be impossible without GOAL #17: Partnership for the Goals. SDGChangemakers is a team coming from the Tri-State Area (New York, Connecticut and New Jersey) to represent the importance of this initiative.

Team Sauce is playing for goal #6: Clean Water and Sanitation. Drinking water is often taken for granted and Team Sauce is coming to New York to remind us that clean water is still denied to many parts of the world.

Sharing our vision of an alternative, women's amateur world cup, where activism for the world we want is fusing with our love of sport and the power of team-spirit.
1060 players, 44 nationalities, 17 Global Goals
On June 8th Two of the largest youth soccer camps in the world joined GGWCUP in pledging their support for the UN Global Goals for Sustainable Development. They Pledged to introduce the young players to the Goals, and integrate them in the camp program.
