Why is this Goal important to the team?
Porque creemos que es importante reducir las brechas sociales de niños- jóvenes y sus familias para prevenir los múltiples escenarios de violencia de los que pueden ser víctimas.
Because we believe it is important to reduce the social gaps of children and young people and their families in order to prevent the multiple scenarios of violence to which they may fall victim.
How will the Team take action for the Goal?
Vamos a trabajar para reducir las brechas sociales de una población de 120 personas, conformada por 30 niños y sus familias, en las comunidades más vulnerables de la ciudad de Medellín, en este caso la comuna 3, Manrique San Pablo. Desarrollando procesos a través del juego, la educación y la actividad física con niños y jóvenes entre los 6 y 17 años. Realizaremos múltiples actividades tanto en la fundación como en la universidad, que buscan contribuir en la construcción de sus proyectos de vida, prevenir los escenarios de múltiples violencias en los que pueden ser víctimas, fortalecer su autoestima y su vez, apoyar la formación de personas resilientes para que generen un cambio social en el contexto en el que viven.
We will work to reduce the social gaps of a population of 120 people, consisting of 30 children and their families, in the most vulnerable communities of the city of Medellin, in this case, the commune 3, Manrique San Pablo. Developing processes through games, education, and physical activity with children and young people between 6 and 17 years old. We will carry out multiple activities both in the foundation and in the university, which seek to contribute to the construction of their life projects, prevent scenarios of multiple violence in which they may be victims, strengthen their self-esteem and in turn, support the formation of resilient people to generate social change in the context in which they live.
How will the Team measure impact and reach?
Por el número de niños que asisten al intercambio cultural- académico mediante la visita a la universidad Eafit, el número de clases que se dan en la fundación de temas específicos que sean del interés de los niños y el número de reuniones que se realizaron como acompañamiento para favorecer la toma de decisiones en relación con la elección de educación técnica, tecnológica y profesional.
By the number of children attending the cultural-academic exchange through the visit to Eafit University, the number of classes given at the foundation on specific topics that are of interest to the children, and the number of meetings that were held as an accompaniment to favor decision-making in relation to the choice of technical, technological and professional education.
How will the Team know your success?
El éxito del proyecto se podrá medir en el acompañamiento a las diferentes actividades programadas y el impacto que estas generen, hacer que la gente conozca más, que siga y acompañe las actividades también sería un éxito.
The success of the project can be measured by the accompaniment of the different activities programmed and the impact they generate, making people aware, following, and supporting the activities would also be a success.
