We are a group of friends, that are passionate about football and created a sports club ‘The Storm’ in the city of Jeddah. But, 1,5 year after opening the outdoor playgrounds in the club were closed, because they were not safe.
Our passion made us look for outdoor spaces to practice, and we agreed with one of the stadiums to play there once a week.
Today the club have 45 players, technical and administrative staff and a media center.
The Store team aspires to provide the highest levels of training and the best quality in the field of football to raise the level of female players in our homeland. We want to enhance mental and physical health in a safe environment full of motivation and positivity. That is our goal as a team and family.
The Storm Team in the Women's Football League in Saudi Arabia won the best team in the league and the second best team in the Regions League. Our player Dalia Abu Laban was crowned with the top scorer of the Women’s football league.
مجموعه من الصديقات شغفنا كرة القدم وجمعنا احد النوادي الرياضية في مدينة جدة ولكن بعد عام و نصف تقريبا تم اغلاق الملاعب الخارجية في النادي بسبب انها غير امنه ولكن شغفنا جعلنا نبحث عن ملاعب خارجية للممارسة هوايتنا وتم الاتفاق مع احد الملاعب للعب فيها أسبوعيا مره واحده
في 2017 شجعتنا رغبتنا في المشاركة في دوري نسائي مقام في مدينة جدة على إنشاء فريق ستورم وللمشاركة في الدوري كان لابد من تأسيس فريق (شعار ، اسم ، اطقم) وكان هذا هو الهدف الأساسي من إنشاء الفريق.
بعد البطولة عاهدنا نفسنا على الاستمرار على التمارين وتطوير مهارات اللاعبات لنتمكن من المشاركة في البطولات بشكل أقوى وأصبحنا نتمرن 3 أيام في الملعب ويومين في النادي أي 5 أيام في الأسبوع.
الان فريق ستورم يتكون من ٤٥ لاعبة وطاقم فني وإداري ومركز إعلامي.
يطمح فريق ستور بتقديم أعلى مستويات التدريب وأفضلها جودة في مجال كرة القدم للارتقاء بمستوى اللاعبات في وطننا، وذلك لتعزيز صحتهم وفعاليتهم الذهنية والجسدية في بيئة آمنه مليئة بالتحفيز والإيجابية، كما يطمح فريق ستورم لخدمة المجتمع والوطن اللذان قدما الدعم والتحفيز للفريق ليواصل العمل والتطوير للوصول إلى جميع أهدافنا كفريق وعائلة.
توج فريق ستورم في دوري كرة القدم المجتمعي النسائي في السعودية بجائزة أفضل فريق في كأس الأبطال وبجائزة ثاني أفضل فريق في دوري المناطق وتوجت اللاعبة داليا أبو لبن بهدافة كأس الأبطال.
This is how the Team will take action for their Goal
As a female football team, we always faced judgment from the community especially when we first started.
We know exactly how does it feel to be the underdog. We don’t only work just to win, we work hard to prove to the whole world that women can play football.
After struggling in the first years of establishing the team, our voices was heard and we had a chance to play in a professional football league. Now we want to help other women so the whole world will hear our voices.
We play to reduce the inequalities in the world.
