Team Strømmestiftelsen play for Global Goal 1 No Poverty
We are a team of youth players from Nepal, Tanzania, Uganda and Norway. We are all part og the Stromme Foundation exchange program Act Now.
We are eager in the fight to eradicate poverty and believe youth are able to contribute.
Acting locally and thinking globally!
Why Global Goal 1?
This goal is important to the team because we are passionate to see more justice in this world. We support the vision of Stromme Foundation - to eradicate poverty. The goal is important because we believe that all humans should have food on the table. Stromme Foundation is also focused on creating jobs, the important of education and to inform people about their rights. All of us in the team has seen how this has helped people to climb out of poverty.
How will the Team take action for the Goal?
We will be creative and put focus on the global goal by visiting schools and institution, by use of social media and by doing "stunts" like collecting garbage and arranging "stands".
In the different ways of communication and mobilising target groups for action, we will share facts and stories from different NGOs in Nepal, Tanzania and Uganda.
We can be witness of truth because we have personal relationship to the NGOs. All receiving support from Stromme Foundations.
What is succes for the Team?
We will measure by counting how many youths are subject to our campaigns and the number of people reach with social media.
We will also describe the different activities and acts done to fight poverty.
