Why is this Global Goal Important to the team?
Malala’s es un equipo que lleva 5 años en Colombia transmitiendo un mensaje de equidad no sólo en el fútbol, también en la vida, Malala’sfc busca romper paradigmas demostrando que belleza, talento y feminidad van de la mano; y que el deporte puede convertir comunidades en territorios seguros para la mujer creando equidad, respeto y tolerancia por cada ser humano dentro y fuera de cualquier rol que estemos desempeñando.
Malala's is a team that has been in Colombia for 5 years transmitting a message of equity not only in soccer, but also in life.
Malala's FC seeks to break paradigms demonstrating that beauty, talent and femininity go hand in hand; and that sports can turn communities into safe territories for women by creating equity, respect and tolerance for every human being in and out of whatever role we are playing.
Goal How will the Team take action for the Goal?
Estaremos enfocadas en los barrios de nuestra ciudad llevando con fútbol y conciencia social el mensaje de equidad de género. Si nos vez en la calle te preguntaremos ¿porqué todas mienten? Y después de que demos juntos nuestra palabra por la equidad de género y la no violencia nos comprometeremos a NUNCA MÁS MENTIR, así demostramos a los habitantes que las apariencias nunca te muestran la verdadera esencia y que estando atentos podemos salvar vidas.
Desde las canchas, logrando con cultura y deporte cambiar mentes.
También en nuestras redes sociales mostrando el talento, ocurrencias y mensajes de empoderamiento, paz, equidad, logrando enganchar muchas más personas a nuestra causa.
We will be focused on the neighborhoods of our city, carrying the message of gender equality with soccer and social awareness. If you see us on the street we will ask you “Why do they all lie?” and after we give our word together for gender equality and non-violence we will commit to NEVER LIE AGAIN, so we show the inhabitants that appearances never show you the true essence and that being attentive we can save lives.
From the courts, working with culture and sport to change minds.
Also in our social networks showing talent, witticisms and messages of empowerment, peace, equity, managing to engage many more people to our cause.
How will the Team measure impact and reach?
El mensaje será replicado en nuestras redes sociales, las redes de las integrantes de nuestro club, fundaciones en pro de la mujer, colectivos de transporte, colectivos de barras de fútbol y las juntas de acción comunal y local de diferentes territorios de la ciudad que juntos nos sumamos firmando el compromiso para convertir a Medellín en un territorio seguro y libre de violencia de género.
Este es el tercer año en el que realizamos una Copa de fútbol con 32 equipos participantes totalmente gratuito, en el marco del día internacional de la eliminación de la violencia en contra de la mujer y esto también nos permite replicar un mensaje de equidad, paz y no violencia empoderando a mujeres y niñas desde las canchas.
The message will be replicated in our social networks, the networks of the members of our club, foundations for women, transportation collectives, collectives of soccer bars, and the community and local action boards of different territories of the city that together we will join signing the commitment to make Medellin a safe territory free of gender violence.
This is the third year in which we have held a soccer cup with 32 participating teams totally free of charge, in the framework of the international day for the elimination of violence against women, and this also allows us to replicate a message of equity, peace, and non-violence, empowering women and girls from the soccer fields.
How will the Team know your success?
Si logramos cambiar la mentalidad de una sola de las personas que ven nuestras redes, asisten a nuestros partidos, firman nuestro compromiso de no violencia, o van a nuestras actividades, ya tenemos éxito. La equidad de género es paz y estamos comprometidas con eso.
If we can change the mindset of just one of the people who watch our networks, attend our games, sign our non-violence pledge, or go to our activities, we have already succeeded. Gender equity is peace and we are committed to that.
