During these past weeks we worked on growing awareness on gender equality matter in Romania.
We ran the PassTheBall campaign which will end with these bloggers on the 4th and invited journalists to cover the event.
We filmed presentation videos with the players and published them on ”Și fetele joacă fotbal” Facebook page (we have two more to publish)

May
On 4th of May we will play a friendly game against bloggers, named Bloggers SDG5. We invited especially sports bloggers with large communities. If you are in Bucharest between 2-5 of May, we hope that you have time to join us.
“Our team has organized actions for goal number 5. We have organized and created a community where we have spoken and promoted gender equality through football. One of the biggest problems in our country is that people do not accept football being practiced by girls, noting that it is a boys' sport. We have had TV appearances at the most popular Romanian TV stations: Pro TV, TVR 2, Digi 24, Anatena 1 and we had meetings with many important people who promoted the GGWCup project through #taketheball, we had promotions in parks where WE went out and talked to the people about the project and I played football with them, We played friendly games with well-known bloggers who in turn talked about the project.”
