OFFICIAL INVITATION
Global Goals World Cup Finals Iceland 2021
November 7 to November 10
Dear Global Goals Advocate,
This year marks the sixth year of EIR’s commitment to closing the Play Gap, advancing gender equality and the UN Global Goals in every country we play.
EIR normally hosts its annual Global Goals World Cup Finals during the Global Goals Week in September alongside the United Nations General Assembly. But this year is different—and we are honored to host this year’s Finals in one of the world's most gender equal countries; Iceland.
In partnership with the Reykjavík Global Forum - Women Leaders 2021 and Young Professional Women in Iceland (UAK) we invite you to join the Finals.

Alongside matches and talks we will celebrate how women are uniting around the world for the Global Goals and laying the ground for a more just future for all. Please note, the program might be subject to chance.
Every Global Goals World Cup is showcasing how a movement fuelled by girls and women break down barriers, lead local sustainable development and amplify their call to action. The GGWCUP is merging the game of football with global citizenship.
You will meet the GGWCUP global partners, teams and coming GGWCUP 2022 organizers from Norway, Colombia, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
All participants in the event and program must show negative COVID-test 48 prior to the event and proof of COVID vaccination.
We hope you will accept our invitation and take this unique opportunity during this year's GGWCUP Finals Iceland 2021 and Reykjavík Global Forum - Women Leaders 2021 from November 8 to November 10, 2021.
