Why is this Global Goal Important to the team?
Como mujeres y deportistas de futbol a nivel competitivo nos parece que es justo y necesario que haya un balance y una igualdad en cuanto a la importancia que se le da al deporte en ambos géneros, no menos preciar a la mujer o asumir que tiene menos talento solo porque ha sido costumbre ver más el deporte masculino que el femenino en la mayoría de casos. Además la desigualdad no se ve solo en el deporte sino en muchos aspectos de la vida cotidiana y nos parece que debemos empezar por algo y de ahí seguir avanzando con más temas, porque lo importante es empezar y seguir constantes en búsqueda de la igualdad y equidad.
As women and competitive soccer athletes, it seems to us that it is fair and necessary to have balance and equality in terms of the importance given to sports in both genders, not to undervalue women or assume that they have less talent just because it has been customary to see more male sports than female sports in most cases.
In addition, gender inequality is not only seen in sports but in many aspects of daily life and it seems to us that we must start with something and from there continue to move forward in more areas because the important thing is to start and remain constant in the search for equality and equity.
Goal How will the Team take action for the Goal?
La acción a realizar es una muestra y análisis de diferentes modos de juego entre las mujeres y los hombres en diferentes deportes donde se ven solo o con mayor importancia el género masculino al femenino, a ejemplo del futbol en el caso específico de Colombia.
Es difícil que las edades más pequeñas lleguen a una igualdad al 100% pues la gente suele considerarlo como amateur, pero hay que empezar de alguna manera, así sea ir de ascendente a descendiente, es decir, empezar con el deporte de manera profesional y luego seguir con las divisiones inferiores en las que se suele separar el futbol, tanto masculino como femenino, es decir, sub 20, sub 17 y sub 15. Al lograr esto se igualaría la importancia y de ahí en adelante es cuestión de seguir en el proceso para igualar otros aspectos como la remuneración económica.
The action to be carried out is a sample and analysis of different modes of playing between women and men in different sports where the male gender is seen alone or with greater importance than the female gender, such as soccer in the specific case of Colombia.
It is difficult for the younger ages to reach 100% equality because people usually consider it as amateur, but it is necessary to start somehow, even if it is going from ascending to descending, that is, to start with the sport professionally and then continue with the lower divisions in which soccer is usually separated, both male and female, i.e., U20, U17 and U15. By achieving this, the importance would be equalized and from there on it is a matter of continuing in the process to equalize other aspects such as economic remuneration.
How will the Team measure impact and reach?
Teniendo en cuenta el caso colombiano con el bmx donde esté es más visto el femenino que el masculino la idea es entender el porqué de este y con base en eso tratar de aplicar la misma técnica para los deportes femeninos y así igualar su importancia y capacidad, además de lograr en caso del deporte como profesión se obtengo o se pueda dar la posibilidad de que los salarios y/o remuneraciones sean más equitativas entre ambos géneros.
Taking into account the Colombian case with bmx where it is more seen the female than the male, the idea is to understand the reason for this and based on that try to apply the same technique for women's sports and thus equalize their importance and capacity, in addition to the accomplishment of the case of sports as a profession is obtained or can be given the possibility that wages and/or remuneration are more equitable between the two genders.
How will the Team know your success?
Con el análisis de estadísticas, de las razones por las cuales algunos deportes difieren en su importancia, mirando las razones y empezando con pruebas piloto para llegar a una acción final que sea la base para lograr el propósito de igualar la importancia en los deportes para ambos géneros o por lo menos que la diferencia no sea tan drástica y notoria.
With the analysis of the statistics of the reasons why some sports differ in their importance, looking at the reasons and starting with pilot tests to arrive at a final action that will be the basis to achieve the purpose of equalizing the importance in sports for both genders or at least that the difference is not so drastic and notorious.
