Global Goal 5 - Gender Equality
Team UOC Angels Uganda will play for Global Goal 5 at the GGWCup East Africa 2020 on International Women’s Day March 8th
This team will play for Goal 5 because women in sport and in other sectors are lagging behind.
Team UOC Angels Uganda from Uganda Olympic Committee want to use this opportunity to raise awareness about the many issues and work in terms of policy making, implementation and activism that still has to be done before we have achieved Gender Equality.

Conducting workshops, networking with other like-minded organizations and outreach programs that promote gender equality.
How will the Team measure its actions, impact, and reach?
We will measure by the number of activities/events hosted, number of participants, partnerships formed and specifically in sport.
We are monitoring our impact by the number of girls/women we are empowering through capacity-building courses and their involvement in sport participation and leadership roles.
