Team Jeddah Wave FC play for Life Below Water

Goal 14, Life Below Water, is very relevant to us, because we live in Jeddah - one of the biggest coastal cities in the Kingdom.

Jeddah is home to some of the most amazing marine life and corals. In addition to this, our love for the sea is a very important element of our lifestyle.

Having a sustainable Red Sea through ensuring clean water and the preservation of its corals and marine life will better improve our life under the water and have us enjoy it further. Nonetheless the importance this has on the economy of our country and positively impacting the world we live in.

We represent a combination of different experiences and expertise covering different industries and functionalities ranging from retail to the aerospace industry and from marketing, finance, to engineering, which contribute positively to the economy of Saudi Arabia.

We all share the passion for football and being socially responsible. We aim to further establish our presence within the community not only locally but also nationally and hopefully globally, where we can further enhance the local and Global Sustainability Goals on the longer term.

يقدم الفريق مجموعة من الخبرات والخلفيات المختلفة التي تغطي مختلف الصناعات والوظائف التي تتراوح من التجزئة إلى صناعة الطيران ومن التسويق والتمويل إلى الهندسة. مما يساهم بشكل إيجابي في اقتصاد المملكة العربية السعودية. ومع ذلك، فإننا نتشارك جميعًا في عدد من المصالح المشتركة. ويأتي على رأس تلك القائمة شغفنا بكرة القدم والمسؤولية الاجتماعية. من خلال مزيج من التجارب والخبرات جنبًا إلى جنب، نخلق قوة تستحق التقدير. نحن نهدف إلى ترسيخ وجودنا داخل المجتمع ليس فقط محليًا ولكن أيضًا على المستوى الوطني ونأمل على المستوى العالمي حيث يمكننا زيادة تعزيز أهداف الاستدامة المحلية والعالمية على المدى الطويل.

لقد اخترنا الهدف رقم 14، الحياة تحت الماء. الهدف مهم جدًا بالنسبة لنا لأننا نعيش في واحدة من أكبر المدن الساحلية في المملكة، وهي مدينة جدة، والتي تعد موطنًا لبعض من أكثر الحياة البحرية والشعاب المرجانية الاروع في العالم. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، فإن حبنا للبحر يمثل عنصرًا مهمًا جدًا في أسلوب حياتنا. إن وجود البحر الأحمر مستدام من خلال ضمان المياه النظيفة والحفاظ على الشعاب المرجانية والحياة البحرية سيحسن حياتنا بشكل أفضل تحت الماء ويجعلنا نستمتع بها أكثر. ومع ذلك، فإن أهمية ذلك على اقتصاد بلدنا والتأثير الإيجابي على العالم الذي نعيش فيه

This is how the Team will take action for their Goal

هدفنا الرئيسي هو خلق وعي لمجتمعنا حول كيفية تأثير الحياة تحت الماء على بيئتنا، وما الذي يمكننا فعله للحفاظ عليها والفوائد الكامنة وراءها. وبناءً عليه سوف تتلخص خطتنا لتحقيق ذلك في 3 نقاط رئيسية:

ش عمل افتراضية تغطي موضوعات مثل علم البيئة البحرية.

رحلة تحت الماء تركز على الحياة تحت الماء وكيفية الحفاظ على نظافتها.

مبادرة تنظيف الشواطئ التي تسلط الضوء على تأثير ذلك على الحياة تحت الماء وعلى بيئتنا

Our main objective is to raise awareness in our society about how life below water effects our environment, what can we do to preserve it and the benefits behind it:

Virtual Workshops covering topics like Marine Ecology.
Underwater excursion focusing on life under water and how to keep it clean and preserve it.
Beach cleaning initiative highlighting the impact this has on life under water and our environment therefore the importance of it.
