Why is this Global Goal Important to the team?
Nuestra iniciativa inició hace 13 años en un territorio azotado por el conflicto armado. Los grupos armados y el narcotráfico nos querían quitar la esperanza de vivir en una comunidad en paz. Rosalba Lasso, lideresa de la Junta de Acción Comunal de la vereda Las Vegas en La Hormiga, Putumayo, creó el campeonato “Integración por la Paz”, como una oportunidad para que niños/as mujeres y hombres nos integremos a través del fútbol, como una forma de continuar trabajando por la paz.
Our initiative began thirteen years ago, in a territory hitten by armed conflict. Armed groups and drug trafficking wanted to take away our hope of living in a peaceful community.
Rosalba Lasso, leader of the Community Action Board of the Las Vegas village in La Hormiga, Putumayo, created the “Integration for Peace” Championship as an opportunity for children, women and men to integrate through soccer, as a way to continue working for peace.
Goal How will the Team take action for the Goal?
Durante 13 años consecutivos hemos logrado integrar anualmente a hombres y mujeres desde un enfoque de género. Pero para lograr el objetivo, desarrollaremos un torneo relámpago previo a la 14 versión del torneo de fútbol a realizarse este año 2023, donde cada equipo contará la experiencia de transformación sobre cómo ha impactado el deporte en la construcción de paz en la vereda Las Vegas y su respectiva divulgación del proceso en redes sociales.
For thirteen consecutive years we have managed to annually integrate men and women from a gender perspective. But to achieve the objective, we will develop a lightning tournament previous to the 14th version of the soccer tournament to be held this year in 2023, where each team will share the experience of transformation, about how sports have impacted the peace-building process in the Las Vegas village and its respective disclosure of the process on social media.
How will the Team measure impact and reach?
Participación de equipos inscritos en el torneo relámpago previo a la 14 versión del torneo de fútbol a realizarse este año 2023, número de partidos jugados y divulgación de los procesos en redes sociales y personas alcanzadas.
Participation of teams registered in the lightning tournament previous to the 14th version of the soccer tournament to be held this year 2023, number of games played and dissemination of the process in social media and number of people reached.
How will the Team know your success?
Sabremos si hemos tenido éxito por el número de participantes inscritos y el impacto las historias de transformación alrededor del futbol en nuestra vereda.
We will know if we have been successful by the number of registered participants and the impact of transformation stories around soccer and our village.
