Challengers Team plays for Global Goal 5 Gender Equality
“يلعب فريق “ نتحدى الحاضر لنرسم المستقبل” من أجل الهدف الخامس “المساواة بين الجنسين
We believe that gender equality is not just a basic human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable world.
There has been progressing over the past decades: more girls are attending school, fewer girls are forced into early marriage, more women are serving in leadership positions, and some laws are being reformed to promote gender equality.
Despite these gains, many challenges remain: discriminatory laws and social norms remain pervasive, and women remain underrepresented at all levels of political leadership.
Thus, for women and girls to penetrate all fields, including the sports field, can serve as a tool to confront those societal cultural stereotypical challenges.
نحن نؤمن بأن المساواة بين الجنسين ليست مجرد حق أساسي من حقوق الإنسان ، ولكنها أساس ضروري لينعم العالم بالسلام والازدهار والاستدامة

How will the Team take action for the Goal?

The team carried out a number of activities, including:

Filming the activity of a sports competition with the distribution of prizes worth $600 in cooperation with the Bank of Palestine.
A female student sports delegation was sent to the Norwegian city of Stavanger for the purpose of youth sports exchange.
There is planning in early February 2023 to hold a competitive indoor sports tournament for both genders (chess + billiards + table tennis).
There is a plan to implement a group of community activities under the item of social responsibility.
We are currently continuing training for the league matches organized by the Human Supporters Association.

تم إرسال وفد رياضي من الفتيات إلى مدينة ستفنجر النرويجية بغرض التبادل الرياضي للشباب
هناك تخطيط في أوائل فبراير 2023 لعقد بطولة رياضية داخلية تنافسية لكلا الجنسين (شطرنج + بلياردو + تنس طاولة)
هناك خطة لتنفيذ مجموعة من الأنشطة المجتمعية تحت بند المسؤولية الاجتماعية

We believe that we will win because we are working very hard on our goal.
