Team Centenary Bank Ladies will #taketheball for Global Goal 1 and No Poverty
This team is a group of women from the Centenary Bank, one of the leading commercial microfinance banks in Uganda.
They will play for Goal 1, because they want to see every one of their customers and the entire community empowered to fight poverty.
The team motto is: No one deserves to live under the poverty line. Economic empowerment is important for all.
Please welcome onto to field: Tigaiza Irene, Mary Zawadi, Shamim Babirbye , Namutebi Justine, Patience Nakakande, Zuure Winnie, and Ayero Jackline.
This is how the Team will take action for their Goal
We are already doing CSR projects that empower women in both small and big businesses, we also support community projects that provide skills to women within different areas.
How will the Team measure its actions, impact, and reach?
We plan to use this angle of GOAL 1 to create platforms that we can share with our clients to interest them into fighting poverty together. We also plan to intensify our initiatives to create more sustainable relationships that are geared towards achieving SDGs.
