In 2017 Team Climate Reality from the Nature Island of the Caribbean, Dominica were ready to step on the pitch to raise awareness of the impact of climate change on their vulnerable home nation...
But the night before the World Cup, Hurricane Maria devastated their island, and the team never made it to the kickoff. 

But this year they are back! and ready to make even more noise for the reality, which is climate change, and the need to take urgent action. 

Team Captain Sapphire Carrington explains:
We will start a SDG Youth Group on the island of Dominica whose prime minister vow to turn its island to become the first climate resilient country in the world.
Our motto is:  Let’s come together and tackle the climate crisis - One purpose, One Love, One People, One planet!
