Women Vote Celebrate

Hope-Gangloff-VOTE-EIR.jpg

Dear friends,

In 2015 we released a ball to celebrate the 100 year for women's right to vote in Denmark. Today we drop this new ball design to coincide with the American presidential election to celebrate women’s rights to vote worldwide.

The unique ball design by U.S. artist Hope Gangloff began as an ink drawing from 1997 of a starry sky. It then evolved into a 10 ft x 7 ft giant painting (cut out above) on linen before it was transformed into a soccer ball.

We all have to engage with the government that represents us, otherwise, democracy doesn’t work. Checks and Balances include the eyes of the people. You BETTA vote,” Gangloff said.

This is Marie's second year living as a resident in the U.S. and is not yet eligeble to vote. This is her way of casting a ballot.

We hope you will make this starry ball part of your everyday!

Happy October. Be safe.

- Majken & Marie

Hope Gangloff’s work moves in many directions and has no center. It includes landscapes with demented skies, to political posters of all kinds and still lives and portraits. Her work is represented by the Susan Inglett Gallery in New York.

The VOTE design is our newest soccer ball design and proceeds from the sale of the ball will go to the future Global Goals World Cup (GGWCUP).
