Team Ulla United plays for Global Goal 3: Good Health & Well-being
Ulla United is a danish team from The Danish School of Media and Journalism in Aarhus. The team is for every girl on the school who is interested in football or interested in a place to be a part of a community, and we have a huge focus on making sure everyone feels welcome across of the semesters.
Why this Global Goal?
For us the social part of football is very important, but not the only thing that matters. It is important to exercise and maintain a good health and we want to take part in promoting that and a good well-being while having to study and somethings work, which can be hard.
How will the Team take action for the Goal?
We will bring more focus to the benefits of sportsteams on a campus, and how it is a good opportunity to bring good health and well-being together in a social and fun way. Both on our own education and others in Aarhus we will advertise for sports connected to campus.
How will the Team measure impact and reach?
We will measure it by the numbers of educations who offers any sort of sport or activities that can help the girls get in shape while improving their social life. Thereby both good health and well-being will be more in focus next to hard studies.
