November 26, 2022

10 teams. 17 Global Goals. 102 female coaches living in Jordan from the Eir Coach Program. The first season of the Global Goals League has come to an end. Final match day was Friday November 25th in Amman, Jordan.

The first edition of the Global Goal League concluded today, with team Keepers winning first place and Team Revive playing for Global Goals 4 equality education runners-up. The League Finals were hosted by the American Community School ACS with local partner Rise For Good founded by Princess Lara Faisal.

Team Keepers have been creating awareness about Global Goal 15 Life On Land by teaching kids in public schools how to plant in recycled plastic bottles, removing trash from the street, building houses and food/water dispensers for stray animals out of plastic bottles.

As a team, we think about life on land. Therefore our new action is that we are going to build houses for stray animals to sleep in, out of plastic bottles. Each house will include homemade food and water dispensers for people to fill up from time to time,” - Team Keepers.

LaLiga’s Ambassador, Aintzane Encinas, joins as Ambassador for the new Play activist League.

The training with the women's coaches was great, they are the change for the next generations and the fact that they can have training will bring a lot of value in order to grow in equality,” -  Aintzane Encinas.
