Play a football match for peace and join One Day One Goal
Peace starts with individual action, and our actions will inspire others. When we use the power of football, we can unite countries, clubs, communities, friends or families with a football/soccer event.
The One Day One Goal initiative has brought people together since its launch in 2008 with thousands of matches being played worldwide on Peace Day.
We are excited to have you play for peace and see your pictures on Instagram, Twitter and anywhere you like to share when you incl. #PeaceDay and #ggwcup in your posts.

Join the Peace One Day Live Global Digital Experience - free event with panels, music and inspiration
This ground breaking virtual event, proudly sponsored by Microsoft, will be broadcast live to every continent in the world, connecting the most incredible international speakers, actors and musicians for a full day of online digital experience and to raise awareness of Peace Day, and ultimately spread the message of peace and non-violence throughout the world.
Jeremy Gilley and Jude Law has designed this day and event to to showcase activity globally, in the hope that 3 billion people will be exposed to the Peace Day message in just 24-hours. What’s more, is that it’s absolutely free to register live event with music performance and 7 live-streamed panel discussions throughout the day from the worlds of peace keeping, technology, education, mental health, virology, business and entertainment.
The opening Words of Peace will feature great actors reciting dramatic or historical speeches that have inspired change or action in the past. make sure to join the event from 10am BST (London, UK).

We are honoured to announce that HRH Princess Lara Faisal, Founder of Rise for Good and our host partner of the Global Goals World Cup tournament in Jordan is confirmed to speak on the ‘Heroines of Peace’ Panel.
The speakers are all inspiring women on the frontlines of action: Valerie Keller, Angela Cretu, Dr. Najat Maalla M’jid, HRH Princess Lara Faisal, Ghida Anani.
This panel will be at 11:54am in London / 6:52 AM in NYC / 12:54pm in Copenhagen / 1:54PM in Amman.
This panel will be part of a full day of live broadcast with the most incredible speakers, actors, musicians and live action from the continents of the world.
