Dance with the ball

Dance with the ball w/ Jackie Bachleter

This Clubhouse training series is for all levels, and all you need a ball. You will learn the technics in how to control the ball.

Coach: Jackie Bachleter, Sweden / USA.

We will combine everything we learned in the past session in a fun and challenging conditioning session with the ball. Lets play for our Goals!

In this session I will be joined by my good friend Denise Koorevaar. Denise is a goalkeeper that has played professionally in the Netherlands and Division 1 in Sweden. She is a fantastic goalkeeper coach, strength coach and has played in the GGWCUP.

Scanning your environment: There are about 3000-5000 decision making situations in a football match. Our brain takes steps to process information which allows us to take quick decisions and use proper football actions to solve problems on the field. This process starts with: 1. Scanning the environment/field. (Where are the defenders, the free space, my teammates, etc.) 2. Take in/sort information you scanned 3. Take Action to solve the problem based on that information.

Quality touches for quality education: Training has numerous positive effects on the brain such as: an improvement of cognitive function, an improvement of concentration, faster memory recall, reduces stress and so much more. In this session we will combine the numerous touches we have learned in the pas episodes with a different cognitive challenges.

Let’s turn this around: In this session we will work on different turns we can use when escaping pressure in tight spaces as well as look at what we can do together in response to Global Goal 12 Responsible Consumption & Production.

Use your resources efficiently and effectively: We have so many possibilities right in our own home. In this training I will show you how to create exercises with different items around your living space.

Take action with take on moves: There are many 1v1 situations in every game and even more in the GGWCup. In this session I will teach you basic attacking take on moves that can help you beat any opponent in a 1v1 situation.

Sharing knowledge leads to innovation: In this training I will show you what you can do if you have a partner to train with at home. I will be joined by my good friend Charlie Bellange. Charlie is not a football player but has an impressive background in training and submission wrestling.

We are all the same with the ball: In this training we will continue to develop our ball handling skills in the tight spaces of our homes. This will help us grow and adapt to the tight spaces we will experience while playing in the GGWCUP.

Let’s stick together: This session is dedicated to Global Goal 3; Health and Well-being. Lets support the health workforce by sticking together, staying at home and training at home. Join me in a session where we will focus on basic ball handling techniques.
