The first Global Goals World Cup (GGWCUP) took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, in May 2016 — only 8 months after the UN signed the Global Goals. Since then, we've been at the forefront of women's sports, captivating audiences, inspiring millions, and winning numerous awards for innovation.
Welcome to the Global Goals World Cup — an activist football championship. We use the power of sport to unite girls and women around the world in taking action on the United Nations' 17 Global Goals. Our teams are motivated by their love for football and their desire to change the world. GGWCUP Milano 2026 is our latest tournament, hosted by One Lab Milano.
