Team plEYers for life will play for Global Goal 3: Good Health & Well-Being
Team plEYers for life is a group of colleagues from EY Czech Republic, an Ernst & Young member firm. People from different departments, including a marketing specialist, a graphic designer, a tax specialist, an auditor and an assistant, are coming together to play for the world they want.
This team will be playing for Goal 3: Good Health & Well-Being. They are proud to be a part of the GGWCup because it gives them a chance to make the world a better place, and because it’s a great teambuilding activity.
“I used to play football at school in America ten years ago. And now me and my team decided to play for a better world, because that’s something we’re trying to achieve at EY.”
How will the team take action for their Goal?
They have been devoted to fighting cancer for a long time.
In April they celebrated the “Health week” with their employees for the first time. They prepared several expert lectures for their colleagues, and organized a first aid course, measuring vitamins in their bodies and massages. They were able to visit a dermatologist, have their sight checked and much more.
In May they registered for a nationwide challenge “By bike to work”. They are going to bike, walk or run to work. They will improve their health and help the environment at the same time.
They will actively participate in the Czech day against cancer and that’s how they’ll get funds to fight cancer - to prevent tumors and to improve the quality of life of oncological patients.
In June they will take part in the Avon parade for healthy breasts and they will organize a lecture about breast and testicles cancer prevention
