Thanks! Tak! Danke! Gracias! Grazie! for such an amazing weekend!! You are all such inspirational, lovely and world-changing women!” – Becca Todd, Global Goals Ambassador, England

One women has power. One team has impact.

”One woman has power. One team has impact. I’m excited to have joined the special EU Ambassador Coach Training supported #ErasmusPlus in Copenhagen and learn to use sport as a catalyst for change” – Katerina Salta, Global Goals Ambassador, Greece

Recognising a global issue of female underrepresentation in sport we want to find out how to make women more active. And who better to ask for help than those who play football and train players every day? In the past weekend, 12 Female Coaches from all over Europe - all with spectacular ideas on how to use and combine sport and activism to change the world for women – were gathered in Copenhagen. Besides developing a shared training plan and discussing what it will take to succeed, the weekend program involved a workshop in storytelling, visiting the Danish activist project: “The Youth Island”, a night in the name of the Global Goals and of course tons and tons of laughing, loving and celebrating the successes to come.

We are looking forward to present the European Ambassador teams in March and will be following their journey up until the European Global Goals World Cup in Copenhagen in May.

“Thank you everyone for an unforgettable few days. I feel so humble and thankful to have met all of you and to set out on this exciting adventure with you!”, Rikke Rønholt, founder and CEO og Global Goals World Cup

Want to help your national Ambassador Coach?
Over the next 6 months the ambassador coaches will  each set a team, pick one of the 17 #GlobalGoals to play for and and while coaching develop new ways to engage women in society and in sport. But they can’t do it alone. If you want to get in contact with your national Ambassador Coach to sponsor her team, donate a team-dinner, offer yourself as a sparring partner for working with the global goals, design their uniform (yes, they get points for best style too.) or something else, please get in contact with us or with your European Ambassador Coach directly.

The project is partly sponsored by Erasmus+
