Global Goal 6 - Clean Water & Sanitation

800 million people lack access to clean drinking water. Team Grundfos wants to change that.

Team Grundfos is a group of colleagues from Grundfos who share a passion for water and the global goals. They will be playing for Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation.

Their action? Raising awareness and money for their employee fundraising programme Water2Life which is working to improve the water supply at Tocoa public school in Colón, Honduras.

Grundfos support Global Goals 6 and 13 in particular because we believe that we can actually make a difference in these two areas. With our energy-efficient pump solutions and extensive experience with water, we can contribute to the global effort to provide all human beings with access to clean water and sanitation.

See you on the pitch in Copenhagen May 14!

How will the team take action for their Goal?

  • The team engage/Involve community. eg. workplace, school, town, and engage/ Involve the public eg. national/ international campaigns, media etc.

  • The team’s mission is clear: Drink tap water instead of bottled water. Not only is bottled water 2,000 times more energy intensive to produce than tap water - it also takes three times the water to make the bottle as it does to fill it. The Grundfos water heroes will deliver Not Just Bamboo water bottles to all participants at the GGWCup in Copenhagen May 14. Bottoms up!
