Global Goal 15 - Lige On Land

From Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — meet Team Greens

This team is a group of sports leaders and coaches who are passionate about raising awareness for the health of the earth and mankind. They have come together from different backgrounds — private sector, government, and sports clubs — to help the world go green by playing for Global Goal 15 Life on Land.

We believe that the health of the earth reflects the heath of nations.

How will the team take action for their Goal?

Team Greens wants the world to know that plastic is killing our beloved planet. They are tackling the problem head on through beach cleanups, awareness campaigns, giving out reusable bags and post-game cleanups at the stadium of official Saudi League games.

They will also be bringing the creativity by writing a song for their Goal, Life on Land, and getting a group of artists to create a piece of art from the plastic collected throughout the team’s campaigns.

The players are living in different cities in Saudi Arabia.

Go green along with Team Greens @Greens.Saudi on Instagram and Twitter.
