“The feeling of ‘you’re not alone’ is a powerful one.”

We couldn't have said it better than our first #GGWCup Europe coach Jackie Bachteler who is heading team Inspiring Inequalities. Their goal is to highlight women in soccer, whose careers are often cut short by societal and economic pressure. Jackie wants “to highlight inspiring women working everyday towards a goal and dream and together educate each other to reduce inequality at the highest of levels.”

Jackie is one of the EU Ambassador Coaches selected as part of our overall project GGWCup Europe. Learn more about the special ErasmusPlus project here and read more about Jackie here

See you on the pitch in Copenhagen May 14!

Team Inspiring Inequalities will be playing for Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities:

“We are playing for Goal number 10. It matters because too much of the world’s wealth is held by a very small group of people. Which often leads to financial and social discrimination. In order for nations to flourish, equality and prosperity must be available to everyone - regardless of gender, race, religious beliefs or economic status. We want to show that when every individual is self sufficient, the entire world prospers.”
