Returning runner up from last years championships, this US based team consists of Equality League members and allies who advance women's rights through sports.

Why play for goal 5? 
Because the barriers that women and girls face in sport also exist in society. If we can remove the barriers in sport, the changes will transcend into other sectors of society.

What will you do to make noise for your goal?
We will raise awareness and support for the #NoBan4Women campaign to end Iran's discriminatory practice that bans women from entering stadiums as spectators. We started the #NoBan4Women petition before the FIFA World Cup and it has 194,000 signatures. Ending the ban will improve Gender Equality in Sports!
